Australian Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) are grown in the pristine waters of Tasmania, the perfect conditions for premium salmon for their rich, meaty, bright orange flesh. Salmon is one of the richest known sources of Omega-3 fatty acids, which the body can’t naturally produce, yet is essential to a healthy diet.
Atlantic salmon are farmed in sea cages that are open to the ocean, and any waste from the farm is washed into surrounding water. The effects of waste have been studied on the areas surrounding sea cages and appear to have minor and short-lived impacts on seafloor dwelling species; sea cages are also rotated so that areas below the cages are allowed to recover.

The Atlantic Salmon is delivered fresh or frozen and cleaned from the farm packed into foam boxes by the kilogram. The Salmon have a fresh shelf life of 14 days from harvest, when refrigerated at 3 degrees.
